Without the pressures and politics of TRPs and what not, these shows are watched because of quality content. One such show is -Sacred Games!
This holy (sacred, right?) game which aired its first season from July 6, 2018, on Netflix Sacred Games is first India’s Netflix Original to be made. Adapted from “Sacred Games” by Vikram Chandra, it revolves around Sartaj Singh (played by Saif Ali Khan) -a police officer, an underworld crime lord-Ganesh Gaitonde (Nawazuddin Siddiqui) and Anjali Mathur (Radhika Apte) – a research and analysis wing officer, showcasing some raw, unadulterated naked truths about the underworld mafia.
Winning critic’s appreciation and audience’s applause, Sacred Games has received a great response all over the globe – in 191 countries where it was released in over 20 languages. With hopes of second season release date in the air, audiences are surely considering Netflix as an effective option for entertainment. There is no confirmation yet about the release date of the second season of Sacred Games.
